The above image had to be stitched together using multiple scans due to its size.
Furthermore, the complete piece should have an umber overlay with white acrylic detailing; I added this back digitally by scanning the acetate details separately and then overlaying with Vivid Light to retain luminosity. on PSD
The initial Idea did not change so much from the fruition of it in my mind to the final execution. I have found that more often than not this is how my work is best created as when I am caused to consider too much it becomes convoluted ; the purity of an initial idea can sometimes withstand critique and finish with just as much quality.
Acrylic Badges.
I got a 'job lot' of old badges from Ebay. While some were worthy of being kept, others I defaced, leaving only the steel back.
These pieces are unique and great fun to make- especially the faces on which I experimented with colour pallets.
